Siendo muy joven abre su primer taller en Madrid, RS Motos (2001). A finales de 2002 se traslada a Marbella donde poco a poco crea su estilo. Allí además de construir motos y con el tiempo acabar desarrollando su propia marca de motocicletas, Old Custom Flames®, se hace hueco entre los aerografistas internacionales. Desde Estados Unidos, en el año 2008 conceden a Ricky «Honorable Mention» y en 2009-2010-2011 es nombrado House of Kolor «Prestigious Painter».

El año 2012 fue un punto de inflexión para Ricky. El Museo Automovilístico de Málaga organizó la exposición, “Other Way of Art” en torno a su modo de trabajar, vivir y entender la moto. Ese año tuvo lugar en Madrid la primera edición del Festival de Tendencias Urbanas Mula Fest, con Ricky C.López como embajador del evento en el sector “Garage”.

2015 desde Sodupe-Güeñes (Vizcaya) Ricky C.López es nombrado “Campeón de España de Constructores”.

2016 y 2017 de nuevo desde Sodupe, “Campeón de España Categoría Custom” y “Mejor Constructor” en las exposiciones vintage Oldies but Goldies celebradas en el Museo del Ferrocarril y Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas.

2018, Moto Bike Expo Verona, Primer Puesto en la Categoría Harley Modificada.

A finales del año 2018, Ricky se traslada a su Madrid natal donde continúa con el desarrollo de su marca de motocicletas, Old Custom Flames®

Año 2020, Madrid Bike Show Motorama (evento afiliado al Mundial de Constructores AMD), Primer Puesto en Categoría Custom, Best of Show y nominado para el AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building 2020 (Evento pospuesto hasta 2024 con motivo COVID-19)

Being very young, Ricky opened his firts workshop in Madrid, RS Motos (2001). Soon (2002) he will move to Marbella where his own style takes hold. There he starts building bikes and creates his own brand of motorcycles, Old Custom Flames®, . His airbrush skills win him an international Honourable Mention in 2008 and is awarded by House of Kolor (United Estates) with the Prestigious Painter Award during 2009-2010-2011.

Ricky’s work has stood in the sector, but 2012 was a turning point. the Malaga Automotive Museum holds an exhibition called «Other Way of Art» and Ricky is invited to exhibit his custom built bikes along with a photo collection and video documentary of his works.. He is aslo named as the Ambassador for the first Urban Trend Festival «Mula Fest» in Madrid. He was presented to the public as one of the leaders in his discipline,.

2015 from Sodupe-Güeñes (Vizcaya), Ricky C.López is named «Spain Champion Bike Builders»

2016-207, Ricky C. López is named “Spain Champion Custom Modified” and in the expo Vintage “Oldies but Goldies” held in the Madrid Train Museum and Las Ventas Bullring, Ricky is named “Best Bike Builder”

2018, Moto Bike Expo Verona, 1st place in the Modified Harley Class.

At the end fo the same year, Ricky returns to his Madrid native where continue with his bikes brand Old Custom Flames®

2020, Madrid Bike Show Motorama (AMD World Championship affiliated event), First Place in Custom Class, Best of Show and nominated for the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building 2020 (Event postponed to 2024 for COVID-19)
